Driving Instructions from Rotorua to Solitaire Lodge.
Starting from the lake end of Fenton St, drive South down Fenton St until you reach the second set of traffic lights at a large intersection. Making sure you are in the East bound lane, turn left down Te Ngae Road. Follow this road for roughly 2 Km until you reach a large double lane round-a-bout. Turn right up this round-a-bout onto Tarawera Road.
Continuing straight along this road, Solitaire Lodge is 19 km or 25 minutes from this point. After approximately 12.5km Tarawera Road turns to the right toward “The Landing”. Please continue straight ahead on Spencer Road for another 6km. Turn right into Ronald Road where a sign directs you to Solitaire Lodge 400 metres.

Children under the age of five years are FOC. If they are aged five and under the age of 12 they are charged at half the adult rate. Children aged 12 years and over are charged at the full adult rate.
Children are very welcome at Solitaire Lodge. If they are under the age of 12, we request they dine in their suite, in the dining room, or on the terrace (weather permitting) prior to 6pm.
